Child Safety Standards

Effective August 2, 2026 Version 2.0 Last Updated August 2, 2026

Zero tolerance. SeatConnect has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, conduct, or account that violates these standards is removed immediately, the account is permanently banned, and the matter is reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Our Commitment

Seat Connect, LLC ("SeatConnect," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation across the SeatConnect mobile application and website (the "Platform"). These Child Safety Standards explain how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and how users and the public can report concerns to us.

These standards apply to every user of the Platform and supplement our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. They are published in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.

Key Definitions

Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform and will result in immediate removal, a permanent ban, and reporting to authorities:

Age Requirements & Minor Protections

The SeatConnect app carries a 13+ age rating. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create an account.

Users must be 18 or older to take part in any ticket transaction — buying, selling, trading, swapping, or receiving a ticket through a giveaway. There are no exceptions and no parental-consent exception for ticket transactions. Sellers are independently age-verified by Stripe during payout onboarding.

Users aged 13–17 may access community features only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for the minor's activity. We encourage parents and guardians to review the features described below with their child, and to monitor their child's use of the Platform.

We do not ask for or store a date of birth. Age is established by the representation a user makes when accepting our Terms. If we learn that an account holder is under 13, we delete the account and its associated personal information.

Where Minors Can Interact With Others

We publish this list so that parents, guardians, and users understand exactly where contact between users is possible on the Platform:

How We Prevent & Detect CSAE

We describe our controls plainly, including their limits, so that no one relies on a protection we do not provide.

How detection works today, stated plainly. Our detection is driven by people, not machines. Every piece of content, every message, and every profile on the Platform can be flagged by any user, and every user can block another user. Reports involving a minor are reviewed immediately and escalated ahead of everything else in our queue — we treat them as the most serious thing that can arrive in front of us. Where we find CSAE or CSAM we remove it, permanently ban the account, preserve evidence, report to NCMEC, and cooperate with law enforcement.

To be equally clear about the limits: SeatConnect does not currently operate automated scanning, hash-matching, or machine classification of uploaded images, video, or text. We say so because no parent, guardian, user, or regulator should believe content is being screened automatically when it is not. That is a gap we are actively working to close — automated CSAM detection is on our roadmap, and we will update these standards the moment it is in place.

In the meantime we continue to take every other step available to us to reduce risk to everyone on the Platform, minor and adult alike: manual identity verification before a user can trade, swap, claim a giveaway, or sell; permanent bans with measures to stop banned users returning; published content standards; and human review of everything reported to us. If you believe we have missed something, tell us — we would rather hear it twice than not at all.

Reporting CSAE to Us

If you encounter content or behavior on SeatConnect that may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, report it immediately:

Please include as much detail as possible. Reports are reviewed promptly. You may report anonymously.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement (911 in the U.S.) first.

Our Response & Reporting to Authorities
